Grading
All grading will be based on a points system. This will make it easier to understand your grade. Add up your points and divide by the total possible points.
Tests and Projects: 75-125 points
Quizzes: 20-50 points
Homework: 2-15 points
Participation: 30 points every 2 weeks + other opportunities in class
Trabajo Diario (Daily Work): 12-15 points every 2 weeks
Expectations
1. Put in an effort EVERY CLASS!!! It is important to try to speak and understand Spanish as much as possible.
2. DO YOUR HOMEWORK EVERY NIGHT!!! This is an easy way to ensure you understand the topics and get some easy points.
3. Come in for extra help when needed. I am available almost everyday during X block (in the cafe), A1, A2 and B1 and after school, just let me know in advance.
4. If you fail a quiz, come in for extra help and then re-take the quiz. We will go over what you had trouble with and hopefully clear up any misunderstanding.
5. If you are absent, you MUST complete any make-up work within 2 weeks or it will be a 0.
